Curiosities:

• Met Don Bosco at the Age of 12 at Becchi and joined him at the oratory in Turin after that.
• Would induce on himself a number of Sacrifices which later Don Bosco asked him to stop doing telling him it is enough to do his duties well.

Achievements:

• Together with some friends founded the Company of the Immaculate Conception.
• Managed to disrupt a fight by getting between the two youths showing them the cross.
