  • Had a serious attack of typhoid at the age of 23 which had a profound spiritual effect on her.
  • Met Don Bosco when he visited Mornese on a hike with the boys on 10 August 1864.

 

Achievements:

  • She started a sewing school to educate girls in work, prayer and love of God.
  • Founded together with Don Bosco the institute of the Daughters Mary help of Christians.
